High-Quality Installation Begins at Maidstone Residential Development

DCS Roofing Limited is pleased to announce the start of work on a significant new project: a 28-unit residential flat development located in Maidstone. This project involves the installation of a new warm roof system across a substantial 500m² roof area.

We completed a highly productive first day on site, establishing a strong foundation for a high-quality installation. Our specialist team executed crucial preparatory steps, ensuring the project begins with maximum efficiency and compliance.

Productive First Day Achievements

During the initial day, our team successfully carried out key operations, including:

• Priming the roof surface to ensure optimal adhesion.
• Beginning the installation of the vapour control layer to manage moisture and protect the structure.
• Preparing to apply the Paralon Warm Roof system, utilising PIR tapered insulation for precise thermal performance and effective drainage.
• Executing complex installation work around numerous critical rooftop penetrations, including the lift overrun, Automatic Opening Vents (AOV), access hatches, Soil Vent Pipes (SVPs), and various electrical penetrations.
• Completing necessary contract lifting to safely and efficiently transport all materials up to the roof level.
