Geroge Cole Season Round-up

We’ve proudly supported George Cole throughout his karting journey and are delighted to share his latest season round-up.

George finished the 2025 Junior Rotax season in a strong fashion, finishing 8th overall in the Kart Championship and 10th in the Hunts Kart Racing Club Championship (HKRC). Over the course of the season he picked up multiple top 10 finishes and was named most improved Junior of 2025 at HKRC.

The decision was made at the end of 2025 to move up to Senior Rotax class a year early (he was due to continue in Juniors until the end of 2026), so he is now one of the youngest on the senior grid at just 15 years old in what will be a transitional year as he adjusts to a new tyre, engine and kart weight.

2026 has started strongly with George performing very well despite these changes. He picked up a heat win at HKRC, in a very strong grid that included a former British Champion. He currently sits in P2 in their championship after 4 rounds.

He’s not been so fortunate in The Kart Championship where on track incidents have scuppered his first two rounds at Warden Law, Sunderland and PF International, Grantham. With 4 rounds still to go he is confident he can regain some of the ground he has lost so far and work his way back up the standings.

In the SuperOne Series however, he has had a great start and after 4 rounds he is currently sitting at the top of the championship and picked up his first podiums in a National Kart Series with P2 in both Round 3 and Round 4 finals at GYG kart track in Wales, a fantastic achievement at such an early point in his Senior Rotax journey.

With 8 rounds still to go in SuperOne, 4 rounds in The Kart Championship and 6 in HKRC, there is still a lot to race for. 

Upcoming rounds see him racing at Whilton Mill, Shenington, Kimbolton, Fulbeck, Rowrah and Clay kart tracks over the summer months. A couple of one off events will also see his return to one of his local tracks, Buckmore Park, where George has previously enjoyed success when he raced there in 2024.
