We’re so proud! DCS Roofing Limited was honoured to have played a significant part in the recent transformation of the Maidstone Amateur Boxing Club (ABC), a heartwarming story featured prominently in the local press.

The Maidstone ABC has long been an important safe space for youngsters in the community, but its facilities had become worn out, leaving the club at risk. When basic essentials were being shared by young athletes, it became clear that this vital community hub needed support to survive and thrive.

The Construction Industry Steps Up

What followed was a brilliant example of the construction industry uniting for a collective good. Local contractors, including us at DCS Roofing Limited, came together to support the club pro-bono, contributing our expertise and resources to secure the club's future.

Through the project, dubbed “Ringside Revival,” the club gained essential improvements: a new boxing ring, fresh kit, crucial repairs, and a full redecoration. This collective effort transformed the space into something the community can be truly proud of, reinforcing our belief that the construction industry has a powerful opportunity to help build more than houses—to help build hope.

A Lasting Impact on the Community

The difference is already being felt. For many kids, Maidstone ABC is much more than just a gym; it’s a place to build confidence, find purpose, and stay active—a place where life can change for the better.

The head coach highlighted that the improvements will allow the amateur boxing programme to "thrive... for many years to come."
