Green Roof Installation at Welling

DCS Roofing Limited is proud to showcase the successful completion of our latest green roof installation at a significant residential development in Welling. This project involved providing sustainable roofing solutions for 58 new residential flats.

Project Scope and Sustainable Features

The installation covered a substantial 850m² area across multiple roof types, including the main roof, wrap-around terraces, and private balconies. This complexity required meticulous planning and execution to ensure seamless waterproofing and system integration across varied structures.

A key feature of the project is the sedum green roof installed on the 2nd-floor warm roof. Sedum is a low-maintenance, drought-tolerant vegetation chosen specifically for its durability and environmental benefits.

This completed system contributes significantly to sustainable urban living by:

• Adding Natural Insulation: Enhancing the building’s thermal performance and reducing energy consumption for heating and cooling.
